We are seeking a talented Optical Design Engineer to join our team at Renishaw's Spectroscopy Products Division. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in developing new cutting-edge Raman spectroscopy products.
About the Role
As an Optical Design Engineer, you will work closely with our design team to develop and test new Raman instrumentation. Your responsibilities will include defining and conducting system and sample testing, planning and conducting experiments as part of the instrument design process, and providing technical content for marketing literature.
Requirements
- A good working knowledge of optical physics and/or Raman spectroscopy
- Degree in physics, or relevant scientific / numerate discipline
- MSc or PhD in Optics / Photonics /Physics / Raman spectroscopy (desirable)
- Experience using Raman spectroscopy or other spectroscopy equipment and software (desirable)
