Key Responsibilities

The Vessel Operations Engineer will be responsible for ensuring the preparation and activities of the MSV, including mobilization, pre-lay survey, anchor pile installation, touch down point monitoring, support to Castorone for pipelay campaign, anchor pile removal, pre-commissioning campaign, and final demob.

The successful candidate will also be responsible for liaising with the engineering team to guarantee all required documentation is prepared, shared and commented by the vessel crew, interfacing with the vessel team to guarantee project requirements are met, reviewing and approval of task plans pertaining to pipeline operations which are written offshore, and jointly responsible with the QC Coordinator for ensuring the correct revisions of documents are available on-board.
