Technical Superintendent Job Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Technical Superintendent to join our team in London. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, coordinating and supervising all maintenance activities on Oil Tankers.

Key Responsibilities:

This role involves planning detailed schedules and requirements based on vessel dry-docking due dates and draft specifications. The candidate will also be responsible for scheduled and unscheduled maintenance repairs, including development of vessel budgets and operating expenditure.

  • Development of vessel budgets, including operating and dry dock expenditure.
  • Vessel inspection planning as required by Safety Management Systems (SMS).
  • Ensuring timely analysis of monthly financial reports.

Requirements:

The successful candidate will have previous experience as a Technical Superintendent (or in a similar capacity) handling Oil Tankers and an industry-related degree. Sailing experience as a Chief Engineer on-board Oil Tankers vessels is essential.

A strong team player with excellent commercial acumen and good communication skills is required. You must have the right to live and work in the UK to be considered.
