Job Summary

This exciting opportunity has arisen to employ a Practice Development Facilitator for the Breast Imaging service at University Hospitals Coventry and Warwickshire NHS Trust.

The successful candidate will possess a BSc. in Radiography or equivalent, be state registered, have attained the Postgraduate Award in Mammographic practice, hold a full current UK driving licence, and have access to a vehicle for work purposes.

About the Role

The main aspects of the role include supporting staff undertaking the postgraduate mammography or the mammography apprenticeship course. The focus will be on developing the needs of the non-medical workforce, promoting concordance with statutory and mandatory training and appraisals.

Duties will be undertaken at various locations, including University Hospitals Coventry and Warwickshire Hospital, the Coventry City Health Centre Unit, George Eliot Hospital, Nuneaton, and on three mobile breast screening units according to NHSBSP guidelines.

  1. Support the implementation and monitoring of governance frameworks for ensuring high-quality learning experiences.
  2. Update the departmental mammography training plan.
  3. Ensure all learning activities are in accordance with evidence-based practice and in line with Trust policies and departmental work instructions.

Salary and Benefits
