Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Support Worker to join our team at Sonderwell in Braintree, Essex. In this role, you will provide high-quality care and support to individuals with complex health needs, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being.

This is a challenging yet rewarding position that requires compassion, patience, and excellent communication skills. You will work in a team responsible for delivering 24/7 care for the individual and be required to work a mix of 12 hour days and Waking Nights for a minimum of 3 shifts per week. A driver with access to your own vehicle is essential.

About the Role
  • Delivering personalised care and support to clients with complex health conditions, including assisting with daily living activities such as personal hygiene, mobility, and meal preparation.
  • Administering medication and monitoring health conditions, providing emotional support and companionship to our clients.
  • Maintaining accurate records of care provided and reporting any changes in clients' conditions to relevant healthcare professionals and family members.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in complex care.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Compassionate, patient, and empathetic nature.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Flexibility to work the specified hours.
  • Driver with access to own vehicle.
