Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Accounts Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accountancy practice and be AAT qualified.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  1. Preparation and completion of Limited Company accounts.
  2. Preparation of management accounts.
  3. Preparation of VAT Returns under different VAT schemes.
  4. Bookkeeping duties.
  5. Dealing with ad hoc queries raised by clients.
  6. Experience with Cloud based accountancy software.
  7. Ability to reconcile all control accounts.
  8. Understanding of Companies Act disclosures for Financial Statements.
  9. Liaising with clients via telephone and email and offering a superior customer service.
  10. Working collaboratively with colleagues to reach team targets.

This is an excellent opportunity to train, study and develop in a professional growing Accountancy practice. The role can be based in Merthyr Tydfil or Bridgend.
