We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical/Counselling Psychologist to join our team at Central and North West London NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality psychology and neuropsychology services to our patients.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct comprehensive assessments and interventions for patients with suspected dementia and those with a diagnosis of dementia.
- Provide advice and consultation on clients' psychological care to non-psychologist colleagues and carers.
- Work autonomously within professional guidelines and the overall framework of the team's policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with other members of the multidisciplinary team, including psychiatry, nursing, and occupational therapy, to ensure the highest standards of care.
- Complete home visits and travel to different sites within the Trust for meetings as required.
- Doctoral level training in clinical psychology, including models of psychopathology, two or more distinct psychological therapies, and lifespan developmental psychology, as accredited by the British Psychological Society.
- Current registration as a Practitioner Psychologist with the Health and Care Professions Council.
- Training in clinical psychometrics and neuropsychology.
- Experience of specialist psychological assessment and treatment of clients across various care settings, including outpatient, community, primary care, and inpatient settings.
- Experience in clinical psychometrics and neuropsychology.
- Experience of working with older people with functional illness.
