Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Registered Nurse to join our District Nursing team as a Team Leader. This is an exceptional opportunity for a nurse with leadership experience to develop their skills and contribute to the delivery of high-quality care to the communities of Oxfordshire.
Main Responsibilities
As a District Nurse Team Leader, you will be responsible for leading a team of nurses in the delivery of proactive, caring, safe, and excellent standards of patient care. You will work autonomously, delivering high-quality and evidence-based nursing care, and be creative in addressing the needs of patients in a variety of clinical situations.

Your Skills and Experience
We welcome applications from experienced nurse leaders working in care homes, community hospitals, private hospitals, practice nursing, or the acute sector. You will have a proven track record of leadership experience and be able to demonstrate your skills and experience in a leadership role.
How We Will Support You
We will support your career progression through a District Nursing career progression framework, including advanced clinical practice and leadership training in this area. You will also receive regular 1:1 support and development, annual appraisal, regular group clinical supervision with your peers, and a comprehensive internal training programme around clinical competencies.
Working Patterns
The service currently operates 7 days a week between the core hours of 0800-1830. Shift patterns available are 0800-1600, 1030-1630, or 0800-1830.
