Senior Sales Professional

We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Senior Sales Professional to join our team as Area Sales Manager. This role is ideal for a results-driven individual with a strong background in sales and a passion for the Life Sciences industry.
About the RoleThe successful candidate will be responsible for generating sales, establishing new customer relationships, and developing and maintaining existing accounts within their territory. They will work closely with customers to understand their needs and provide solutions that meet or exceed their expectations.
This is a full-time position that requires frequent travel across the territory, with occasional overnight stays for meetings and exhibitions. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and negotiation skills, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Key Responsibilities- Generate sales through face-to-face meetings, on-site demonstrations, and targeted marketing efforts.
- Develop and maintain relationships with existing customers, identifying opportunities to upsell and cross-sell products.
- Cold call potential customers and follow up leads to generate new sales opportunities.
- Organize remote online meetings and product demonstrations to engage with customers and promote products.
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and market trends using CRM software.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A degree in a Life Sciences subject (Molecular Biology or similar).
- Practical laboratory experience, preferably with sample storage knowledge.
- A valid driving license and willingness to travel extensively across the territory.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- A self-motivated and results-focused attitude, with a proven track record of achieving sales targets.
As an Area Sales Manager with our company, you can expect:
