About the Role

We are seeking an experienced corporate lawyer to join the Practical Law Corporate team in the UK.

As a Senior Specialist Legal Editor in Practical Law, you will use your specialist legal knowledge of advising on corporate law matters to provide and maintain a wide range of Practical Law content.

Key Responsibilities
  • Analyse the latest corporate law, regulatory and policy developments, deciding which items to cover and to what extent
  • Create new and maintain existing materials spanning a variety of formats including standalone and comparative resources
  • Commission, review and edit content written internally and externally
  • Meet with external customers and industry experts to maintain and build understanding of the latest trends and pressures in corporate law and practice
  • Assist with marketing the Practical Law Corporate practice area and engaging with customers
  • Liaise with the wider Thomson Reuters editorial teams, sales, marketing, product management, technology and segment functions where necessary
About You

The successful candidate is likely to have:

  • Substantial post qualification experience (England & Wales) as a corporate lawyer in either a law firm or in-house
  • A demonstrable interest and ability in writing
  • In-depth understanding of corporate law and extensive experience in advising on corporate matters
