Job Title: Multi Skilled Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled and versatile engineer to join our Technical Services team at Sodexo. As a Multi Skilled Engineer, you will be responsible for the repair, maintenance, and installation of a wide range of mechanical, electrical, and building systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Undertake day-to-day operations, planned maintenance, fault finding, and repair of building services equipment
  • Interpret technical schematics and drawings to perform planned preventative maintenance, rectification of faults, and installation of new equipment
  • Ensure adherence to Health and Safety, COSHH, and Permit to Work Regulations at all times
  • Work to deadlines to minimize plant downtime and achieve key performance indicators (KPIs)
Requirements:
  • Qualification in or knowledge of mechanical and electrical building services
  • Time served engineer with at least 5 years' relevant post-experience in a similar environment
  • Ability to multitask across mechanical, electrical, and building disciplines at a basic level
  • Good organizational skills with the ability to organize others
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical staff
  • Prioritizing own workload and working under own initiative with minimal supervision
  • Experience of working within a building maintenance organization
  • Basic supervision of maintenance contractors
  • A good understanding of the interrelationship between assets and their maintenance and lifecycle requirements
  • Understanding of user requirements and concepts behind various maintenance regimes
  • Working knowledge of H&S and relevant current legislation and guidance
  • Personal presentation must be of a high professional standard
  • Strong sense of client focus
  • Prepared to contribute to how the department operates
  • Must hold a UK driving license
  • Proof of eligibility to work in the UK
