Agricultural Technician Opportunity at Smallridge Bros Ltd

We are seeking a skilled Agricultural Technician to join our team at Smallridge Bros Ltd in Holsworthy. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for performing diagnostics, service repairs, and maintenance work on customer and/or dealer-owned equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough diagnostics and repairs on agricultural equipment, including AMS products.
  • Complete all necessary reports and administration for work assignments.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety regulations and guidelines.
  • Participate in Service Training Certification programs to enhance skills and knowledge.
  • Perform diagnostics and repairs in the field when required.
  • Conduct pre-delivery setup on new or used equipment.
  • Mentor apprentices and provide guidance on best practices.
Requirements:
  • At least 1 year of experience in service repairs.
  • Ability to perform repairs and maintenance using special tools and equipment following approved technical procedures.
  • Proficient knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems to effect the repair of agricultural equipment.
  • Ability to use standard computer applications and internet functions.
  • Ability to operate vehicles and equipment used for diagnostic purposes.
  • Excellent customer relationship skills.
  • Familiarity with John Deere and competitive products.
  • Ability to work in a team environment.
  • Fork lift and vehicle driving license preferred.
  • Ability to work extended hours and weekends.
