Agricultural Technician Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Agricultural Technician to join our team at Smallridge Bros Ltd in Holsworthy. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual to develop a long-term career with a rewarding company.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform diagnostics and repairs on agricultural equipment, including AMS products, to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
  • Complete all reports and administration required for work assignments, maintaining accurate records and documentation.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work station, adhering to safety regulations and guidelines.
  • Participate in Service Training Certification programs to enhance skills and knowledge.
  • Perform diagnostics and repairs in the field, as required, to provide exceptional customer service.
  • Pre-delivery setup of new or used equipment, ensuring it meets the highest standards.
  • Mentor apprentices, sharing expertise and knowledge to support their development.
Requirements:
  • 1+ years' experience in service repairs, with a strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
  • Ability to use standard computer applications and internet functions, as well as operate vehicles and equipment for diagnostic purposes.
  • Good customer relationship skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Familiarity with John Deere and competitive products, with a strong understanding of their features and capabilities.
  • Ability to work extended hours and weekends, as required.
