Forage Specialist Service Technician

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Forage Specialist Service Technician to join our team at Smallridge Bros Ltd.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform diagnostics and repairs on agricultural equipment, including AMS products, to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
  • Complete all reports and administration required for work assignments, maintaining accurate records and documentation.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work station, adhering to safety protocols and regulations.
  • Participate in Service Training Certification programs to enhance skills and knowledge.
  • Perform diagnostics and repairs in the field, as required, to provide exceptional customer service.
  • Pre-delivery setup of new or used equipment, ensuring seamless integration and functionality.
  • Mentor apprentices, sharing expertise and knowledge to foster growth and development.

Requirements:

  • At least 1 year of experience in service repairs, with a strong background in mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
  • Previous experience working with SPFH and grassland machinery, with a solid understanding of technical procedures.
  • Ability to operate vehicles and equipment used for diagnostic purposes, with a valid license.
  • Excellent customer relationship skills, with a focus on providing exceptional service and support.
  • Familiarity with John Deere and competitive products, with a strong understanding of technical specifications.
  • Ability to work in a team environment, with a focus on collaboration and communication.
  • Fork lift and vehicle driving license preferred, with a willingness to learn and adapt.
