Job Title: CNC Miller

Contek Recruitment Solutions Ltd is working with a leading high-precision engineering company in King's Lynn to find an experienced CNC Miller. This is an exciting opportunity to join a company with a bright future ahead and a strong presence in various markets, including scientific instruments, automotive, aerospace, and defense.

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled CNC Miller to manufacture high-precision parts according to provided job sheets and engineering drawings. The successful candidate will have experience with programming, setting, and operating 3-axis milling machines, with a strong understanding of quality control and safety procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Check job sheets and engineering drawings to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  2. Manufacture first-off parts, ensuring compliance with dimensions, tolerances, and surface finishes.
  3. Provide parts for inspection and sign-off, ensuring quality and accuracy.
  4. Manufacture parts, checking for dimension and surface finish, and ensuring proper deburring and cleaning.
  5. Record accurate information on job sheets, including set time, run time, and observations.
  6. Conduct basic maintenance checks and ensure cleanliness of the machine and working area.
  7. Manage tooling consumables, ensuring they are in serviceable condition and disposing of unserviceable items.
  8. Comply with health and safety regulations and maintain a safe system of work.
  9. Consider improvements and present ideas to the Production Manager.
  10. Maintain confidentiality of customer information.
Requirements

The ideal candidate will have experience with programming in Hurco WinMax and a strong understanding of quality control and safety procedures. A background in high-precision engineering and experience with 4th and 5th axis milling machines would be beneficial.

What We Offer
