Job Title: CNC Machinist

We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to join our team at Cooper Lomaz. As a CNC Machinist, you will be responsible for manufacturing high-precision metal and plastic components to exacting customer specifications.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manufacture components according to provided job sheets and engineering drawings.
  • Ensure quality of parts produced, adhering to stated tolerances and surface finishes.
  • Check job sheets and engineering drawings for accuracy and completeness.
  • Program and manufacture parts in the correct sequence, ensuring compliance with dimensions, tolerances, and surface finish.
  • Provide parts for inspection and sign off, ensuring First Off Approval is obtained in writing.
  • Conduct basic day-to-day maintenance checks and ensure cleanliness of the machine and working area.
  • Dispose of unserviceable tooling consumables and ensure new requirements are communicated to the Production Manager.
  • Comply with health and safety regulations and maintain confidentiality of customer information.
Requirements:
  • Experience with Mazak Integrex 100 & 200 and Hurco WinMax machines.
  • Ability to work with precision and attention to detail.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think creatively.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
