Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Vehicle Maintenance Technician to join our team at Calor Gas Limited. As a key member of our workshop team, you will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and modifying our fleet of vehicles and trailers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and repair vehicles and trailers to ensure they are in safe working order
  • Conduct in-depth engineering work and diagnostics to identify and resolve mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic problems
  • Work effectively as part of a close-knit team to achieve deadlines and meet customer expectations
  • Ensure all repairs are performed in accordance with current Health and Safety legislation and company policies

Requirements:

  • City & Guilds standard in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent engineering discipline
  • Previous experience as an HGV Mechanic in a similar role
  • Strong working knowledge of vehicles, trailers, workshop plant, and equipment
  • Ability to troubleshoot and resolve mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic problems
