IT Service Delivery Manager

We are seeking an experienced IT Service Delivery Manager to oversee the Service Desk operations for our client's IT Team.

The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage a small team within an IT environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure prompt and effective handling of incidents and service requests
  • Monitor service desk metrics and intervene in case of deviations from SLAs and quality standards
  • Coordinate issue troubleshooting and timely escalation
  • Oversee IT projects, manage asset lists, stock levels, software licenses, and maintain up-to-date IT documentation

Requirements:

  • Experience of leading an IT service delivery team and sound knowledge of problem management and incident management processes
  • Technical background in relevant technologies such as Windows Operating Environment, Cloud Services, Virtualisation, Hosting, Networking, Storage
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) to complement technical proficiency
  • Ability to monitor trends and analyse data to identify issues and suggest measures for long-term resolution
