Job Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated Physiotherapist to join our Band 6 Rehab Rotational scheme. This role offers the opportunity to develop as a Band 6 and gain experience in a supportive and friendly environment.

Frimley Health NHS Foundation Trust provides NHS hospital services for around 900,000 people across Berkshire, Hampshire, Surrey, and south Buckinghamshire.

Main Duties
  • To complete 9 monthly rotations through Stroke Unit/Neuro, Stroke Early Supported Discharge (ESD), Farnham Community Hospital Rehab wards, Emergency Department (ED), Medical Wards.
  • To provide a high standard physiotherapy service in assessing and treating patients who may have an acute, complex presentation.
  • To work alongside and communicate with Primary care providers and community services to ensure a safe rapid assessment and discharge of patients in an acute, fast-paced environment.

The estimated salary for this position is £45,839 - £60,391 per annum, depending on qualifications and experience.

Person Specification
  • Physiotherapy degree.
  • HPC registration.
  • Member of Clinical Interest Group.
Experience
  • NHS experience - completed 5 Band 5 rotations.
  • On-call experience.
  • Band 6 experience.
