Job Overview

We're seeking an experienced Assistant Store Manager to join our team in Romford. As a key member of our management team, you'll work closely with the Store Manager to drive team engagement, maximize sales opportunities, and ensure exceptional customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with day-to-day management of the store team to increase sales and ensure high customer satisfaction.
  • Play a key role in creating a positive environment within the store, ensuring regular involvement in business initiatives, sharing best practice, and having fun.
  • In the Store Manager's absence, proactively lead the team to achieve set goals, expectations, and targets through effective coaching and training.
  • Motivate and inspire all valued team members.
  • Walk the floor regularly to ensure store standards are consistently high, providing an exceptional customer experience.
Requirements
  • Previous retail or commercial sales experience, preferably with some experience of store and team management.
  • Commercially focused and results-driven, with an aptitude for decision making.
  • Highly motivated and experienced at working to performance targets, leading by example to identify sales opportunities and achieve results.
  • Strong ability to lead and inspire the team.
  • Excellent communication skills to build rapport and establish great relationships with customers and colleagues.
  • Customer-focused, living our mission by putting customers at the heart of everything.
