Job Title: Term-Time Coach

We are seeking a highly skilled Term-Time Coach to join our team at Yeovil College.

About the Role:

This is a unique opportunity for a passionate Job Coach to make a real impact in the lives of learners with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities.

You will play a pivotal role in helping students develop essential skills and confidence they need to succeed in the workplace.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with local employers to ensure work placements meet each learner's individual career goals and capabilities.
  • Foster a supportive environment that encourages ambition and growth.
  • Act as an integral part of our Foundation Learning team, working alongside Careers and Work Placement Coordinators to manage and monitor student progress within 'Learning Companies' and external placements.

Requirements:

  • At least 2 years' experience working with learners with learning difficulties and disabilities.
  • Level 2 qualification in English and Maths.
  • Hold a UK driving licence and willingness to use own vehicle if required.
  • 30 hours per week, term time only.

Estimated Salary: £28,000 - £32,000 per year.
