**Job Title:** Adult and Community Skills Coach

**Estimated Salary:** £18,000 - £22,000 per annum (dependent on experience)

About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Learning Coach to join our Foundation Learning team at Yeovil College. As a Learning Coach, you will have the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of learners with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities by helping them develop the skills and confidence they need to succeed in the workplace.

You will work closely with local employers to ensure that work placements are tailored to meet each learner's individual career goals and capabilities. This will involve collaborating with colleagues to manage and monitor the progress of students within our 'Learning Companies' and external placements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality learning and development programs that meet the needs of learners with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities
  • Build strong relationships with local employers to create work placements that benefit both learners and employers
  • Monitor and evaluate learner progress, identifying areas for improvement and implementing strategies to address these
  • Contribute to the development of a positive and inclusive learning environment
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of 2 years' experience of working with learners with learning difficulties and disabilities
  • A Level 2 qualification in English and Maths
  • A UK driving licence and willingness to use your own vehicle if required
  • 30 hours per week, term time only
