Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and organized individual to fill the role of Cover Supervisor. As a Cover Supervisor, you will be responsible for managing classrooms in the absence of regular teachers, ensuring students remain engaged and focused on their work.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and manage classrooms with minimal disruption to the learning environment.
  • Deliver pre-prepared lesson plans and maintain student discipline according to school policies.
  • Provide constructive feedback to teaching staff on student progress.
  • Support students with their learning needs as required.
  • Ensure a safe and productive learning environment at all times.
Requirements
  • Prior experience in a school setting is preferred but not essential.
  • Strong communication and classroom management skills.
  • Ability to adapt to diverse classroom environments.
  • Patience and a positive attitude towards supporting students.
  • Flexibility to work on short notice when necessary.
  • A valid DBS check or willingness to obtain one.
