Reception Class Teacher Needed
We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Reception class teacher to join our one form entry school in Kingston Upon Thames.
This is an exciting opportunity to work with a warm and welcoming school community, providing a positive experience for all staff members.
The successful candidate will take on full class responsibility from January 2025 - September 2025, working closely with existing staff to ensure a seamless transition.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and deliver engaging lesson plans aligned with the Reception curriculum.
- Monitor student progress, providing targeted support to meet individual needs.
- Create a positive and inclusive learning environment, managing classroom behaviour effectively.
- Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and the community to achieve outstanding pupil outcomes.
Requirements:
- Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and have experience teaching in a UK primary school, preferably with Reception.
- Demonstrate strong knowledge and understanding of the Early Years curriculum.
- Possess excellent classroom management skills, inspiring confidence and motivation in students.
- Be passionate about creating a nurturing and supportive environment for children's learning and growth.
- Be available to work full-time.
Estimated Salary: £35,000 - £45,000 per annum
