Job Description

We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Consultant Psychiatrist to join our exceptional team. As a Consultant Psychiatrist, you will play a pivotal role in delivering patient care while contributing to team leadership and service development.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform comprehensive assessments and develop treatment plans in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team.
  • Lead ward rounds, multidisciplinary team meetings, and care reviews.
  • Oversee clinical management of complex cases, particularly those involving risk or challenging behaviour.
  • Support patients and families through treatment decisions, relapse prevention, and recovery pathways.
  • Provide mentorship, supervision, and support to junior medical staff and other healthcare professionals.
  • Drive quality improvement initiatives and maintain compliance with CQC regulations and national standards.
