Job Summary
Densell Recruitment is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Contracts Manager to join our team. As a key member of our property reinstatement team, you will be responsible for managing a caseload of property reinstatement projects, including domestic and commercial properties.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a caseload of property reinstatement projects, including scheduling repairs and redecoration works, and producing scopes of work.
- Manage contractors and repairs projects to completion, including cost management.
- Ensure Health and Safety/CDM compliance and carry out site audits.
- Identify new contractors for addition to the network as required.
- Performance manage/audit contractors in your area.
Requirements
- Experience in contract managing property refurbishments/renovation projects is essential.
- Some insurance claim damage or subsidence experience/knowledge would be ideal.
- Experience working for a contractor/social housing provider dealing with residential repairs/renovations is required.
- Knowledge of insurance claims or fire/flood/water/structural damage to properties would be highly advantageous.
- Working knowledge of Asbestos Handling, CDM, DPA, H&S, Party Wall Act is required.
- Ideal qualifications include a building/technical related qualification such as an HNC or Building Surveying/Engineering Degree.
- Strong customer service, communication, and organizational skills are essential, as well as IT literacy and a full UK driving license.
