Location: Office-Based

Role Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Audiology Sales Manager with a strong background in hearing aid sales and audiology. This role is ideal for someone with a deep understanding of the audiology industry who is looking to contribute to the growth and operational excellence of our business. In this position, you will be responsible for managing the sales team, training staff, optimising sales leads, and ensuring superior patient engagement. The ideal candidate will have substantial knowledge and experience within the audiology field and demonstrate a successful track record in hearing aid sales.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sales Leadership: Drive and optimise hearing aid sales, managing and converting leads effectively to achieve sales targets.
  • Team Management: Supervise, train, and mentor the sales and reception team, equipping them to handle sales calls and manage enquiries professionally.
  • Patient Engagement: Ensure the highest level of patient satisfaction, working with the team to deliver exceptional customer service and follow up on all patient interactions.
  • Operational Support: Collaborate with clinic staff on operational duties, including stock management, scheduling, and record-keeping.
  • Supplier Relations: Liaise with hearing aid suppliers to maintain appropriate stock levels and manage orders.

Qualifications:

  • Education:
  • A degree in Audiology, Hearing Sciences, or a related healthcare field (Bachelors or Masters level).
  • Additional professional certifications: In audiology or hearing aid dispensing are highly beneficial.
  • Professional Registration: HCPC (Health and Care Professions Council) registered.
  • Experience:
  • Minimum 5-7 years of experience within the audiology industry.
  • Proven track record: In hearing aid sales or sales within medical devices specific to audiology.
  • Skills:
  • Strong leadership and team management capabilities.
  • Excellent communication: Organisational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work: Independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Proficiency in: Sales management software and familiarity with medical records management systems.
