About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Psychologist to join our Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS) team. As a Clinical Psychologist, you will play a vital role in providing specialist psychological assessment and treatment to children and young people experiencing a range of mental health issues.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop treatment plans for children and young people with complex mental health needs
  • Provide evidence-based psychological interventions, including individual and group therapy, to support children and young people in achieving their goals
  • Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams, including psychiatrists, nurses, and social workers, to provide comprehensive care to children and young people
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of clinical guidelines and policies to ensure high-quality care
  • Participate in clinical supervision and peer review to maintain high standards of practice
Requirements
  • Doctoral level training in clinical psychology, including models of psychopathology, clinical psychometrics, and neuropsychology
  • Current HCPC registration as a Clinical Psychologist
  • Experience of working with children and young people with complex mental health needs, including anxiety, depression, and trauma
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with children, young people, and their families
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team, with a strong commitment to delivering high-quality care
