Part Time Practitioner Psychologist

We are seeking a highly skilled and enthusiastic Practitioner Psychologist to join our team at Turning Point. As a key member of our clinical leadership team, you will play a pivotal role in implementing trauma-informed psycho-social interventions and providing psychological assessment, formulation, and evidence-based interventions to individuals affected by substance use and co-occurring mental ill-health.
Key Responsibilities- Provide clinical guidance, training, and leadership to a team delivering psycho-social interventions to individuals and groups.
- Develop and implement innovative approaches to working with people who use substances, and provide practical advice on trauma-informed evidence-based psychological interventions to colleagues and local agencies.
- Contribute to the strategic direction and development of the service, building strong professional links with other statutory and voluntary service providers.
- Explore ways to continuously improve services and integrate wider issues, such as housing, employment, and finances, into the overall treatment process.
- Up-to-date registration with the Health and Social Professions Council (HCPC) as a Clinical, Counselling, or Forensic Psychologist.
- Doctorate in a professional specialism and proven ability to deliver psychological services.
- Experience of leading and supervising clinical staff, working with substance use service users, and working with people affected by domestic abuse.
