We are looking for a highly skilled Clinical Psychologist to join our team, working across four residential homes in Wiltshire. As a Clinical Psychologist, you will be responsible for delivering specialized psychological services to children and young people in our care.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide specialized psychological interventions to children and young people, addressing their specific emotional and psychological needs.
- Engage with children, young people, and staff to foster constructive and supportive relationships, adapting your approach to meet the unique needs of each individual.
- Offer support, guidance, and knowledge to staff members, helping them develop therapeutically informed relationships with young people.
- Collaborate and liaise with Social Services, CAMHS, schools, child protection teams, general practitioners, and other relevant NHS services to ensure comprehensive support for the children and young people.
- Conduct thorough psychological assessments, utilizing psychometric tests and neuro-psychological tools where necessary, and produce detailed reports.
- Doctorate in Clinical Psychology and registered with the HCPC
- Experience working with children and young people in residential or similar settings
- Strong understanding of child and adolescent development and psychological interventions
- Ability to engage effectively with multidisciplinary teams and external agencies
