Job Title:
Clinical Psychologist (Wiltshire)

Job Summary:
Horizon Care & Education Group is seeking a Clinical Psychologist to join our team in Wiltshire. This part-time role will involve delivering a comprehensive therapeutic service for children in our care. The successful candidate will have experience working with children and young people, particularly those who have experienced trauma and have complex needs.

Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver evidence-based therapeutic and psychologically led care under supervision.
• Undertake comprehensive psychological assessments and write reports for children and young people in our care.
• Develop, write, and review therapeutic care plans for children and young people in residential care and education.
• Manage a limited caseload for individual intervention, providing specialist psychological input to young people and teams in residential care and educational settings.
• Contribute to the development of a therapeutically informed service across education and residential teams.

Requirements:
• Experience working with children and young people or relevant demonstrable transferable skills.
• Post-doctoral knowledge of applied psychology, including developmental lifespan psychology and models of psychopathology.
• Previous experience working with children and young people who have experienced trauma and have complex needs.
• Experience in assessment and management of self-harm, risk, crisis management, and safeguarding.
• Practitioner doctorate or equivalent accepted by the British Psychological Society as qualifying the person to work as a clinical, counselling, or forensic psychologist.
