Role Overview
As a key member of the Technology and Information Services team at Tamworth Borough Council, you will play a pivotal role in delivering a responsive IT Service Desk function. This will involve supporting staff and members with efficient problem resolution, advice, support, and requests for service.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional customer service and communication skills to meet SLA's and internal deadlines
- Manage workload in an organised and efficient manner to ensure timely completion of tasks
- Collaborate with the team to contribute to the implementation of our ICT Strategy

About You
We are looking for an individual with demonstrable experience in an IT support role, be ITIL aware, with excellent knowledge in technologies such as Windows desktop and server operating systems, Microsoft 365, Entra/Active Directory/Azure and Intune, VMware ESXi/Horizon View, and a good understanding of Cyber Security and associated technologies. A strong eye for detail and ability to work independently is essential for this role.
