Job Summary:

As a Classroom Support Specialist, you will be responsible for delivering pre-prepared lessons in the absence of the classroom teacher. You will also manage classroom behaviour, support students with their learning, and work in a variety of secondary schools to gain diverse experience.

About the Role:

  • Deliver high-quality lessons to students aged 11-16
  • Manage classroom behaviour and ensure a positive learning environment
  • Support students with their learning and provide individualized attention when needed
  • Work in a variety of secondary schools to gain diverse experience and build valuable relationships

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working in a secondary school setting, ideally as a cover supervisor or teaching assistant
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Flexibility, reliability, and adaptability to different school environments
  • Ability to obtain suitable references and hold the Right to Work in the UK
