The Opportunity:

Avantor is seeking a Product Manager to drive exceptional growth for its range of self-manufactured and private label LCMS separations products, including chromatography columns and solvents, with a focus on innovation and new product introductions.

The Product Manager will serve as a subject matter expert in chromatography & solvents, analyzing market trends, competitors, and GTM channels to drive growth for the assigned portfolio.

The Product Manager will achieve product financial impact through product forecasting and collaborating within the matrix organisation and/or external partners to expand the portfolio.

This role will be a hybrid position based out of our Hichrom, Reading site with some travel to our sites in Europe & occasionally to US. The ideal candidate will have great presentation & outstanding communication skills along with passion for Chromatography.

The Team

The successful Product Manager will be part of a Team of 2, with wider exposure to Sales, R&D and Senior Directors globally.

What We're Looking For

  • Education: Bachelor's in chemistry or related field is required
  • Experience: 5 years of relevant experience
  • Knowledge of the scientific application of LCMS and related techniques
  • Experience working internationally across cultures
  • Fluent in oral and written English, knowledge of other languages is a plus
  • Problem solving and analytical skills
  • Demonstrable technical experience in field of expertise
  • Demonstrable success in making high-value consumer connections
  • Demonstrable success introducing countermeasures for complex customer problems
  • Exceptional communication (verbal & written)
  • Ability to operate effectively within a matrix organization, integrating complex multifunctional efforts crossing multiple business areas
  • Collaboration Tool: Power BI/SAP/MS office, strong excel

•Understand and develop the correct connections and interactions with Services and Biopharma business units in order to maximize business growth opportunities
