About the Role

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our Integrated Occupational and Physiotherapy team as a Rehabilitation Assistant. This full-time position will be based in the Musculoskeletal Outpatient Therapy service at Ipswich Hospital.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide support to registered therapists in providing therapy interventions to patients in various settings.
  • Assist in the provision of equipment, including ordering and delivery, on behalf of therapists.
  • Support therapy staff with patient-related administrative duties.
  • Contribute to stock control and maintenance.
  • Use a person-centred approach to therapeutic activities, promoting patient independence and adherence to guidelines and protocols.

Person Specification
  • Experience of working with members of the public.
  • Relevant life skills gained through work or personal experience.
  • Desirable: experience in Occupational Therapy or Physiotherapy, the health and fitness sector, or at least 2 years of relevant employment or voluntary work in health, fitness, social care, or community care.
