About the Role

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our Integrated Occupational and Physiotherapy team as a Rehabilitation Assistant. This full-time position will be based in the Musculoskeletal Outpatient Therapy service at Ipswich Hospital.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide support to registered therapists in providing therapy interventions to patients in a variety of settings.
  • Assist in the provision of equipment, including ordering and delivery of equipment to patients via a computer system on behalf of therapists.
  • Support therapy staff with patient-related administrative duties.
  • Assist in stock control.
  • Use a person-centred approach to therapeutic activities with patients, following guidelines and protocols promoting the independence of patients to a level that is consistent with their abilities, preferences, and cultural beliefs.
