About the Role


As a Junior Subsea Asset Engineer, you will provide technical assistance and support for subsea equipment and operations. This role is ideal for individuals with a passion for engineering and a desire to work in the challenging and rewarding field of subsea engineering.


Key Responsibilities



  • Provide technical assistance to offshore teams regarding subsea equipment, including installation, operation, and maintenance.
  • Assist in troubleshooting subsea equipment issues and provide timely resolution.
  • Collaborate with senior engineers to develop solutions for complex subsea challenges.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of subsea equipment specifications, configurations, and operational parameters.
  • Generate reports on subsea equipment performance, reliability, and maintenance activities.
  • Monitor subsea equipment performance through data acquisition systems.
  • Analyse data and trends to identify potential issues and proactively address them.
  • Collaborate with offshore teams to implement preventive maintenance measures and optimise equipment performance.
  • Work with Asset team to implement our new CBMS on all Prysmian assets.
  • Adhere to company health, safety, and environmental policies and procedures.

Requirements & Qualifications



  • Ideal candidate should be educated to degree level in mechanical engineering, petroleum engineering, or a related field.
  • Strong interest in subsea engineering and offshore operations.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work well in a team environment and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Willingsness to travel to overseas/offshore locations as needed.
  • Knowledge of subsea equipment and systems is a plus but not required.
  • Commitment to continuous learning and professional development.

The estimated salary for this role is around £45,000 - £55,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
