This is a unique opportunity to join our team as an Activity Coordinator at Mill View Care Home in Bolton.

We are Advinia Care Homes Limited, a leading provider of person-centred care for Residents with a variety of needs. Our expert team delivers great care in a safe and supportive environment.

Our large, leafy site offers different types of care, including residential and dementia units. If Residents' care needs change, we can provide continuity of care for them at Mill View.

Your Key Responsibilities

You will be responsible for designing and organising stimulating activities within the Home, developing and coordinating new engagement programmes, and encouraging participation among Residents, Colleagues, Relatives, and Friends.

  • Work with the Home Manager and Head of Dementia & Wellbeing to implement Advinia's Wellbeing and Engagement Programme - S.P.E.C.S.
  • Design and organise stimulating activities within the Home, ensuring they meet the needs of Residents.
  • Develop and coordinate new engagement programmes that encourage Residents to maintain pre-existing interests and hobbies.
  • Achieve outcomes by implementing effective risk assessments and reviews as required.
Promised Salary: £26,500 - £31,500 per yearAbout You
