Job Summary:

Empowering Learning is seeking a dedicated and passionate Learning Support Assistant to join our team. As a Learning Support Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the educational and personal development of our students.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide individualized support to students with specific learning difficulties, including those with Special Educational Needs (SEN).
  • Assist teachers in the classroom, helping to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs) for students with SEN.
  • Participate in staff meetings and training sessions to stay up-to-date with best practices in education and SEN support.

Requirements:

  • Good organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to work flexibly and as part of a team.
  • Passion for working with children and a commitment to inclusive education.
  • Recent experience in a school setting, preferably with students with SEN.
