About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Mechanical Supervisor to join our team at Bridges Electrical Engineers. As a Mechanical Supervisor, you will be responsible for supervising mechanical installations and ensuring that all items are installed to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise mechanical installations and ensure compliance with company standards and regulations
  • Lead and manage a team of mechanical fitters, mates, and apprentices
  • Coach and mentor team members to improve their skills and knowledge
  • Develop and implement safety procedures and protocols to ensure a safe working environment
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth project execution
Requirements
  • Proven experience as a Mechanical Supervisor or in a similar role
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical installations and safety procedures
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • SSSTS/SMSTS certification
