Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled individual to fill the position of Advanced Manufacturing Technician Trainee at Oxford Instruments. As an Apprentice Manufacturing Technician, you will contribute to the production of our high-quality products and gain valuable experience in manufacturing and testing.

Key Responsibilities

Your responsibilities will include rotating through various Value Streams, working on placements in each of our manufacturing cells, and spending time in New Product Introduction, Supply Chain, Service, and Manufacturing Engineering. This diverse experience will enable you to develop a deep understanding of our products and processes.

You will also have the opportunity to complete your HNC, acquiring academic knowledge that complements your practical skills. Additionally, you will work closely with our experienced team members to ensure smooth production and quality control.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must have a minimum of five GCSEs (or equivalent qualifications) at grade 5 and above, including English, Science, and Maths.

Estimated Salary

The estimated annual salary for this role is £24,000-£28,000, depending on experience and qualifications.
