Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Hygiene Operative to join our team at Greencore. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene throughout our factory.

Key Responsibilities

  • Clean and sanitize all equipment, production areas, and facilities to ensure a safe and healthy working environment.
  • Conduct regular inspections to identify and address any cleanliness or hygiene issues.
  • Report any stock shortages or equipment malfunctions to the Hygiene Team Leader to ensure timely resolution.
  • Work collaboratively with the Hygiene Team Leader to develop and implement effective cleaning schedules and protocols.
  • Maintain accurate records of cleaning activities and report any issues or concerns to the Hygiene Team Leader.
  • Participate in ongoing training and development to enhance knowledge and skills in areas such as health and safety, food safety, and COSHH awareness.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a hygiene-based role, preferably in a food manufacturing environment.
  • Health and Safety Level 2 certification.
  • Food Safety Level 2 certification.
  • COSHH Awareness training.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to work independently.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
