About The Job

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Analyst to deliver high-quality data, information reports, and visualizations to key stakeholders across the business.

The ideal candidate will have a strong aptitude for data and information analysis, with experience in reporting data and solutions using Power BI or similar visualization tools.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the provision of timely and accurate information, representing MI interests as subject matter experts, and ensuring the production of new, regular, and ad-hoc reports.

They will also be responsible for analyzing and interrogating DVSA's data to gain a better understanding of trends and anomalies that affect DVSA's services.

The role will involve managing the team's support of the government's transparency agenda and executing leadership and management responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the provision of timely and accurate information to meet customer requirements.
  • Represent MI interests as subject matter experts and provide technical support and expertise.
  • Ensure the production of new, regular, and ad-hoc reports.
  • Analyze and interrogate DVSA's data to gain a better understanding of trends and anomalies.
  • Manage the team's support of the government's transparency agenda.
  • Execute leadership and management responsibilities.
Requirements
  • Experience in reporting data and solutions using Power BI or similar visualization tools.
  • Natural inquisitiveness with an eye for problem-solving and finding innovative solutions.
  • Excellent communication skills to articulate to stakeholders at various levels.
  • Ability to advise, contribute, and challenge where necessary.
  • Integrity and ability to manage and engage with stakeholders.
  • Leadership and collaboration skills.
