A new Deputy Care Home Manager position has arisen for a dedicated individual to work in a reputable care home based in the UK. The successful candidate will be working for a leading healthcare provider.

This care home offers residential care for people who need assistance with daily tasks, and respite care to give family or friends a break.

To be considered for this role, you must have an NVQ Level 3 or 4 in Health & Social Care.

As the Deputy Manager, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Leading and inspiring the team to deliver exceptional experiences to residents, promoting choice and independence to make a positive difference to their lives
  • Achieving the highest possible standards of care and enhancing the resident experience, ensuring that all company policies, regulations, Codes of Conduct and care plans are adhered to
  • Working with the Home Manager to implement care home policies around standards care, staff welfare and training and develop an excellent reputation
  • Developing personal contact with residents, their relatives and visitors to enhance the residents quality of life
  • Deputising in the overall management of the care home including production of reports, budgets & Quality of Life monitoring
  • Taking responsibility for the health, safety and welfare of yourself and others, including colleagues, residents and visitors to the Home and alerting the officers responsible to any hazards or potential risks to health and safety
  • Ensuring the team attends training days and courses to ensure learning records are maintained and individuals are developed

The successful Deputy Manager will receive an excellent salary of £35,000 per annum. This exciting position is a permanent full time role working through Day Shifts only. In return for your hard work and commitment, you will receive the following generous benefits:
