Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled HSE Advisor to join our client's team in Aberdeen on an 18-month contract basis. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of health, safety, and environmental management in marine and offshore operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of relevant legislation, class rules, and IT applications related to marine and offshore operations.
  • Utilize your expertise in shipboard management and safety-related activities to review and maintain responsible items within the Safety Management Modules of STAR IPS.
  • Analyze Event and Safety Observation data for assigned vessels to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with the team to develop and implement effective HSE strategies and procedures.
  • Conduct regular audits and inspections to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in HSE roles within the shipping or offshore industry.
  • Strong knowledge of marine and offshore operations, including relevant legislation and class rules.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
