About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior HSE Advisor to join our team at EnerMech in Aberdeen. As a key member of our HSE function, you will play a critical role in ensuring the health, safety, and environmental well-being of our employees, clients, and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide expert HSE advice and guidance to the business, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
  • Lead client audits and provide support to internal HSE committees, ensuring effective risk management and mitigation strategies.
  • Develop and implement HSE policies, procedures, and training programs to promote a culture of safety and environmental responsibility.
  • Conduct trend analysis and provide data-driven insights to inform business decisions and improve HSE performance.
  • Support the business units in achieving HSE objectives, including the monitoring and delivery of HSE scorecards.
  • Provide coaching and guidance to employees, managers, and less experienced members of the HSE function to enhance their skills and knowledge.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • A strong educational background, preferably an HNC or equivalent, and a technical membership of a HSE institute.
  • Relevant professional certifications, such as NEBOSH and/or IOSH, and Lead Auditor qualifications from an IRCA registered training provider.
  • Proven experience in a HSE function, preferably within the Oil & Gas industry, with a strong understanding of risk management and compliance.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
