About the Role

Activ is seeking a skilled Behaviour Support Practitioner to join our team of multidisciplinary professionals. As a Behaviour Support Practitioner, you will be responsible for providing innovative, person-centered services to customers with autism and other disabilities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver strength-based and person-centered services to customers with autism and other disabilities.
  • Work autonomously and in a team environment to achieve desired outcomes.
  • Facilitate group sessions, training, coaching, and/or mentoring to support customers and staff.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of quality services that meet the needs of customers.

Requirements

  • Registered as a Behaviour Support Practitioner with NDIS (Proficient level).
  • Ability to work autonomously and in a team environment.
  • Experience in facilitating group sessions, training, coaching, and/or mentoring and a proven track record in delivering strength-based and person-centered services.
  • A positive, contemporary attitude, and a commitment to maximise quality of life for people with disability.
  • NDIS Worker Orientation Module.
