Commercial Contract Administrator

Job Description: We are seeking a Commercial Contract Administrator to join our team at Linsco Ltd. in Manchester. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the commercial and contractual aspects of construction projects, including cost estimation, budgeting, tender documentation, contract administration, procurement, cost control, variation management, subcontractor management, and final accounts.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Education: Degree in Quantity Surveying or equivalent (RICS accredited preferred)
- Experience: At least 2-4 years of experience in quantity surveying within the construction industry
- Technical Skills: Strong working knowledge of construction methods, contracts (e.g., JCT, NEC), and cost management software
- Commercial Awareness: Solid understanding of commercial principles in construction, including cost control, procurement, and risk management
