Job Title: Teaching Assistant for Year 2 Class

Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Teaching Assistant to join our team at Aspire People to work in a year 2 class in Balsall Heath. The ideal candidate will have a Level 2/3 Support Teaching or Learning / Childcare qualification and strong empathy and understanding of individual student needs.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide individualized support and assistance to pupils.
  • Collaborate with the classroom teacher to plan and deliver tailored lessons and activities.
  • Support the student's academic, social, and emotional development.
  • Adapt teaching strategies and resources to accommodate the student's learning style and abilities.
  • Assist with the assessment of the student's progress and provide feedback to the classroom teacher and parents.
  • Foster positive relationships with the student and establish clear communication channels with the school and parents.

Requirements:

  • Level 2/3 Support Teaching or Learning / Childcare qualification.
  • Strong empathy and understanding of individual student needs.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Patient, resilient, and able to provide emotional support when needed.
  • Flexible and adaptable to meet the evolving needs of the student.
