About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Events Fundraising Assistant to join our Income and Engagement team at Charity Horizons. As a key member of the team, you will play a vital role in supporting the delivery of our ambitious events strategy and contributing to the growth of our fundraising efforts.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the events team with event organization and delivery, including providing excellent support and stewardship to participants and fundraisers.
  • Enroll participants in a calendar of events across the region, ensuring a seamless experience for all involved.
  • Meet with fundraisers and re-engage lapsed supporters to develop long-term relationships and maximize fundraising potential.
  • Provide up-to-date content for our internal marketing team, enabling the effective production of regular communications to engage new and existing supporters.
About You

We are looking for someone with excellent communication skills, the ability to build long-standing relationships, and a proactive approach to problem-solving. You should be organized, diligent, and driven to develop your career in fundraising. A positive, enthusiastic, and willing-to-learn attitude is essential, as you will be working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
